How Reseller works

Last updated: December 15, 2024

Reseller is designed for those of you working with other agencies who outsource their WordPress support and maintenance work to you.

You’re likely to have a mix of direct clients, ie. your own clients whose websites you’re managing and other agencies, who, at Glow, we call Resellers. These Resellers could have any number of their own clients’ websites, the support and maintenance for which they’ve outsourced to you.

What Reseller allows you to do, is manage all your websites (direct clients and Reseller clients) from one dashboard, streamlining your workflow and keeping everything in the same place.

Here’s a little more detail on the things you can do with Reseller:

Manage all your Reseller agencies in one dashboard

Once you’ve setup Reseller (which only takes a few clicks), you’ll be able to go to the Resellers section of the main left hand menu in your account and here, you’ll see a list of all the Reseller Agencies you’re working with. You can quickly add more agencies as you take them on as clients.

White label dashboard for each Reseller Agency

Each time you add a Reseller Agency to your account, Glow will create a dashboard for that agency. You’re able to 1-click login to that dashboard and customise it to match their branding.

In white labelling their dashboard, you’re essentially masking the fact that you exist. You’re their outsourced team and in many cases, they’d prefer it that their clients don’t know about you.

So you can add their branding and a few DNS records too, so that any email notifications and support ticket information shows as coming from your Reseller Agency, not from you.

Handle support requests on their behalf

Through Glow’s support ticket system, you can handle support requests from your Reseller Agency’s clients. Their clients will raise tickets to the Reseller Agency and these will come through to you, to handle on their behalf.

You can assign tickets to teammates and anytime, including to members of your Reseller Agency’s team, if they’re better placed to handle a particular request.

Create and send reports to their clients

Any white label settings you may have put in place for your Reseller Agency will carry through to our client reports feature.

This allows you to manage the reporting on their behalf. You can create and send reports anytime, or automate them. Their clients will receive reports by email (from your Reseller Agency’s email address) and the reports will be fully branded to your Reseller Agency too.

Monitor & maintain the websites for all your partner agencies

All the usual WordPress maintenance features of Glow are available in the respective dashboard for each of your Reseller Agencies. So you can monitor and maintain their clients’ websites on their behalf.

Easily 1-click switch between your accounts

When you login to a Reseller Agency’s dashboard, you’re logging in as yourself. It’s literally 1 click to go back and forth between your account and your Reseller Agency’s dashboard.
